Ten Signs You May STILL BE a Witness ...
by The Berean in#10) you refuse to eat lucky charms breakfast cereal#9) you attribute your daughters drug addiction to an autographed picture you found in her room of peter, paul, and mary#8) you forbid your children to view a fictional movie featuring adult themes while you conduct a real life home bible study with an alcoholic prostitute.
#7) you will not walk near or under wind chimes for fear of contact with demons.#6) you recently burned a perfectly good set of goodyear american eagle tires.#5)) you blame obvious erections occurring at the kh as young hot sisters pass by on tight underwear.
#4) when shopping for an auto you will not even consider vehicles with objectionable names such as saturn, pontiac solstice, and most certainly not a hummer.#3) as a sister you explain to the committee that satan is disguising himself as a hard penis living next door ... who somehow you innocently just keep bumping in to.

Most of you Americans won't know who Postman Pat is,but he is a cartoon character from the UK,I look like him.
A friend of ours had a crocheted doll of PP,and my son when he was a baby, would not leave without it,so the sister who made him had to make us one. I think he still has it.

Never thought to ask this in this forum but if there is any jazz fans of 40's and 50's big bands around I'm looking for a track called 'My Melancholy Baby' by The Kenny Baker Half Dozen/Dozen.
Looking for it for my dad,who heard it as part of a film score, had the 78rpm record and promptly lost it!!! I can't find it any where,so if perchance anyone has a copy or knows of one, would you be so kind as to PM me?
Thanks.
P.S. Restrangled......Bullfrog Blues.....man it's a classic. Good old Rory!

Pioneer School - Class Photo
by Mattieu inhi all, at the conclusion of my pioneer school we took a group photo with the instructors.
we had to chip in $$ to hire a professional photographer (who was a brother).
it is a custom with all pioneer schools in australia to take a class photo with the instructors (much like gilead photo).. do they do that in any other countries?

Did anyone in your congregation have "perfume allergies"?
by BonaFide inover the years, in the congregations i have been in, there have been 4 different people with "perfume or cologne allergies.
anyway, they would always sit in the library, and at the bookstudy some years ago one sister would sit outside and comment through the window!
another sister would sometimes wear a white "surgical" mask in the hall.. the congregation i am attending now has a sister like that.

Do you hate America because it's where wts was born?
by rebel8 ini wonder if some of the palpable anti-american anger is because it's where wts was born.. i'm not interested in political views.
heard ya loud and clear, over and over.
i'm also not interested in posts about how stupid americans/their culture is and how smart the rest of the world is.

No you're not, survived,I too was a fake knocker. Didn't like FS at all. When someone said they were not interested I used to say 'Ok,I'll see you another time then' and go. The bro I was working with said...why didn't you try to win him round?...daft question!! Householders who were obviously not interested just didn't want their time wasting and I respected that.
Although, wwhen I did go quickly, some people said...'Is that it?' so I'd say, yeah you're not interested so i'm off.....................in the end a few good conversations were started, and not always about the bible,I'd talk about music, guitars, football etc.....great fun.

I live in a rural area, there is a cong in the local town about 4 miles away, but we haven't had a call in 2 years. I had a bet with my partner that they would call within 6 months of us moving in.............................I lost!!!!! Shocking!
I drive buses for a living and 1 or 2 get on the bus as I see their blood card when they show the pass, not said anything yet! Maybe one day.
